Well the much anticipated Scarborough Castle Coasters S.C. weekend was upon us and it was time to saddle up and bugger off to Scarborough with the rest of our club. With Grundy and Anna over from Germany we decided to do the both Friday and Saturday nights so they could enjoy it fullly.

Our ride was quite a simple ride this year with no breakdowns and no traffic problems just a good blast up Sutton Bank and through the villages to Scarborough where we were staying for the weekend in full support of the S.C.C.S.C. 'Move On Up2'

After we booked in to our hotel (beverages and cakes ready for us on arrival) we headed for town to collect our tickets from Julie and co. at the Lord Rosebery pub (sampling a few jars as you do). Several pubs later we decided to head to Vivaz club which was the venue for the weekends events and we were greeted by members of S.C.C.S.C. who thanked us for making the effort (not a problem at all after last years brilliant weekend) what with The Finnlys playing a fantastic set and top dj's Dukesy,Ska Glynn,Mark+Johnny(mod for it) we knew it would be a night to remember. The dance floor was busy all night and the place was still buzzing when we left at 3am!

Saturday we went to meet the S.C.C.S.C. and others who were doing the ride to Whitby. Around 80+ scooterists showed up for this and when 1pm arrived we set off for the beautiful ride up the coast road to Whitby and what a great ride it was too with fantastic scenery all the way.
Once in Whitby we rode through the town (must have looked good all us riding through town together) and headed for the whale bones car park where we did our own thing until the ride back (either go to the parts fair or have a mooch around Whitby).

Saturday night saw us taking in a few beverages around town before heading for Vivaz for more fun and frolics and the custom show results, after which the weekends dj's and ska band The Skababs and Little Gemma got the evening well under way. The dance floor was once again bouncing and folks seemed well chuffed with the entertainment, dancing all night/morning
Once again another brilliant weekend at Vivaz courtesy of S.C.C.S.C., well done to all involved there and to all the dj's and acts.
